Welcome to Tobacco Free NGLD App.This app has been designed to create awareness about the danger of tobacco products in view of high prevalence of tobacco use in the state. Tobacco is the biggest cause of preventable deaths and diseases. It also leads to economic hardship among the vulnerable section of the society. This app will facilitate Tobacco control program in engaging stakeholders and communities in the fight against Tobacco and also encourage them to slowly integrate tobacco control into their institutional system. Tobacco control intervention in educationalinstitution is emphasised because protecting the adolescents and youth from getting into Tobacco habit is the only effective way to bring down the prevalence of tobacco use in our society. These activities need be carried out in close co-ordination with Education Department, Police and Administration in the state.
